I purchased this vehicle brand new, way back in 2014 as I couldn't find a used recovery truck which had everything I needed. This is very much a unique opportunity to get your hands on the "right" recovery truck. It's never seen a scrap yard and has always been used for vehicle movements, mostly from auction houses to my car retail premises. I have covered almost all of the 137000 miles myself with my father perhaps doing 1000 of those miles. There is not a recovery truck on the market which has been driven and kept as nicely as this one!
I needed a truck which could do the miles in comfort and legally. My spec:
Air suspension drivers seat
Tacho - needed if you want to tow a trailer (next calibration due in summer 2025 as they need doing every 2 years to stay legal)
Rear air assist airbags (this improves the ride AND keeps the rear axle from looking heavy with a vehicle on it!)
7 Tonne train weight, this means you can be fully loaded on the truck AND take the maximum 3500kg trailer and load combination.

The body is a "ultra single car transporter" body designed and installed by AKFS in Andover, Hampshire. The assistant ramps were bespoke built by Karris Sheet Metal Ltd in Thetford, Norfolk.The vehicles mass in service is 2120KG, this is without driver, fuel and the winch which weighs 53kg. I have the weighbridge print out to prove this weight. The vehicle has has extensive maintenance throughout its life and I have kept the service history book stamped up with the services. (cambelt and waterpump replaced at 75000 miles in 2020) Any additional items which have needed replacement have always been done. I have 2 keys for the vehicle, its had a recent service and an MOT through to October 2025. Tyres are Continental contact 200 all round with the fronts being the manufacturer recommended 113/115 rating (max psi of 60) and the rears being upgraded to 119 /121 so they can take a maximum of 80 psi instead of the standard rating. All of the tyres have a minimum of 5mm remaining. The main vehicle battery was replaced on 04/07/2022 and is the correctly rated 100Ah HSB019.
The vehicle also benefits from a Tracker, which was replaced in 2022 (Trackers have an expected life of 8 years so I replaced the unit even though it was operating perfectly). You will need your own subscription for this to work. The winch was only installed in the summer of 2023 as I intended to start buying non runners, however this never materialised and the winch has only been used about 3 times. It's like brand new.
The light bar works perfectly and also has indicator and brake lights built into it.Part exchange accepted at trade prices. Warranty provided with this sale. The vehicle is HPi clear. Feel free to call me.
